I usually play with the AI set at aggressive, but cannot see proper redeployments either.

Egypt often collapses by some partisan militia, Qatarra province gets black for ever.
Iceland is also captured by partisans all the time, and Bhutan quiet often.

I also can't order mil.ctrl'd air forces to bomb one specific province.

Navies should build larger ships insted of tons of DDs.

Tech advance is pretty slow for player.

I think... or rather i fear that the the combination of the games engine and the massive increase of provinces this version of the game brings is the main problem with the redeployment issue, the AI simply reacts to what i can react to, it calculates the possible threat on any given province and will send what i can up there and keeps doing so untill it calculates it can actually become a threat itself, but with all those extra provinces in this version of HoI2 the AI will simply never get enough units to do that effective enough when new fronts open not even as Germany and you end up with the situations that 1 part of the AI's front holds the bulk of its power and wont move cause the AI still calculates it has to be there and another part of the front with far to little AI if any at all.

Now a few small adjustments can allready make a few things allot better, like in the case of Egypt for example i would think that the UK simply needs an annex event for that at like the moment Italy joins the war or possibly even sooner, plus some fixed Garrisons on basiclly all the provinces with a beach in the mediterranean and i expect the Italian Blitzkrieg towards India wont be a common thing anymore in most games, then perhaps for the airforce issue a similair event that Germany gets to give all the major powers at least a bit of airpower.

I fear you might be right abt. that. Anyway, I`m abt. halfway through 1947 on IC 1.3 ARMA as N. Zealand and:

- Ger is long gone, Central Europe has been abandoned to Uncle Joe and JAP has taken Turkey and Yugoslavia.

- JAP builds lots of troop trps now, they build air trp(have one already) and paras. They have abt. 650 INF + abt 150 from puppets. This could be interesting...

Some events could be added, like:

-Battleship transfers to the USSR (a british rented for 5 years and the confiscation of Giulio Cesare)
-Greek civil war / there could be a seperate Greek people's republic country, with ministers and leaders.
(I can do the database research if someone explains to me in detail how to do it.)
-Some other country/sharings of the kind for after German defeat.
-Marshall plan, the creation of NATO

One remark=
China has core on Sumdo province. If puppeted by Japan and Japan annexes Indian empire Sumdo goes to China, no India can be released.

...and finally, one question=
If I build up infrastructure at a province, will it boost resource production?

about the remark, there seems to be a conflict about Kashmir. Both India and Pakistan have cores on it, so that its not possible to release both countries.
Perhaps they should not be cores and only added by event when both countries exist?
 
regarding greek civil war. check out NWO2 at the DH forums. it covers up the cold war era. iam pretty sure bizon would let you use his ministers etc. (events would need an overhaul anyway because of the map)

I got the answer by myself= If I build up infrastructure at a province, it will not boost resource production. I think they implemented it in AoD only.

Also, I deleted from revolts.txt the provinces #6196 - #6202 from India. This way I can release both India and Pakistan.

Should remove Sumdo from China as well.

When I change minister with +5% research bonus, it does not raise the total % in the "overview" panel, so the bonus is not applied.
