Hi, I have played loads of hours of this mod and especially slave nations. Basically, I think it is a brilliant mechanic so all credit to you guys!

That said, I have some fairly simple suggestions that could improve it. I will just list the suggestions, feel free to give feedback if you like/dislike them.

1) Option to enslave prisoners judged guilty if you are a slave nation and they are landless.

2) Option to give a good tumble to bedslaves in the slave management window.

3) Option to move slave camps from your capital to your other provinces.

4) Option to gift slaves to people (that are in places that allow slavery obviously) instead of money.

5) Disable slaves from leading armies. I mean...seriously.

6) Make the slave selling less clunky. Have an option to declare yourself a slave trader and instead of finding traders individually, choose a price and have them offer you to buy it (kinda like the opposite of being a slave trader).

7) Make stats matter more, traits less. A 17 diploma slave should sell more than a quick 11 diplo slave.

8) Tone down prices in general. No slave is worth the income of a kingdom for a 20 years period. A genius with good stats should sell for 100 tops, not 600.

9) Enable being able to buy specific slaves.

10) After the great suggestion of beartjah: being able to demillitarize your slave camps to avoid the -morale penalty while also losing your troops.

Thank you for reading and, again, I would read appreciate any and all feedback!

Good ideas, especially number 6.

Yeah, although number 6 is probably the most radical of the suggestions and the hardest to implement (well, the new slave selling system at least. The decision to declare yourself a slave trader shouldn't be too hard to implement).

These are some great ideas!

Perhaps the slave trading should be more like saying you are willing to sell a slave, and than also have the ability to say you want to buy a slave. Then have random events where the buyer can choose to find the seller, with an mtth based on the distance between the 2 characters and maybe also prestige. Now if slaves would also have some kind of use other than free money when you sell them...

Also: I'd suggest to add the ability to say you don't want the troops and morale penalty from a slave camp (so: demilitarise the camp, sometimes the aditional troops mean that you can't fit your troops on the boats, making raiding a lot more difficult)

That is a great suggestion actually. I will add it.

afaik the light infantry morale penalty only applies to the "slaves" that are light infantry, not other LI from the same holding. I could be wrong, but if this is the case there is no real reason to allow demilitarization of slave camps.

Well, the slaves can prevent your troops frokm fitting into your fleet (mostly for counts). Besides, I don't see any disadvantages to having the option. Might be that I missed something important though...

Hum, still, if it is like AchedTeacher said, it would probably be too much work for such a minor conveniance, especially when there is so much work to be done.

I will leave it up for now till someone can confirm or deny that.
