When upgrading your Village or Town of Archers to increase their damage the bonus goes onto their melee damage and not shooting damage. Is this intended? Seems silly if it is as they are archers, leaving those upgrades really not worth it and a waste of resources.

The HP and melee damage bonuses for the Village and Town of Horsemen does not apply to any Calvary Units at any military tier rank. Gave the New Rome Provence, with the 5% HP bonus in the Village of Horsemen to the main hero and my secondary hero, both provided no change to the stat cards for my horsemen units. Done the same with the Sulla Provence but this time offering the 5% damage bonus, again provided no change to the stat cards of my horsemen.
Tested this twice, on an old save and a new game. Same results.
