I'm running Windows XP Home, service pack 3.

I tried to install Victoria: Revolutions via the "Download Victoria Revolutions" file you get from gamersgate.com -> my games -> Download Victoria: Revolutions but there is a problem: it won't install all the files. When I try to run the game I get the message "exel file 'db/topology' not found". By browsing the files I can tell that most of them are there but a great deal is missing. For an example all the event files seem to be OK but the victoria/map folder has only 1 file, naval distances, in it.

At first I thought this was because i had uninstalled the game incorrectly. The installer also complained something about Victoria being allready installed (and oddly enought continued the installation after that) so I uninstalled following these instructions (yes, I also manually uninstalled the partially installed game files, there was no uninstaller) and re-downloaded the installer just to be sure. After this the installer stopped complaining about anything and seemed to work properly but alas, when I try to run the game I still keep getting the same message: topology missing!

I know the GG installer has changed since I last installed and played the game some year ago. I wonder if anyone has been able to install the game with this new installer or is it faulty?
