The surrounding lands are a lost more unified than I expected, without any intervention on my part. I guess Harsh Exclave Independence really helped.
Germanic's moral authority is at 100, could a computer-controlled reformation be in store? I've only seen a non-player reformation once, and it was with Suomenusko.
And whatever happened to Songhay? We will find out next...

Egypt is Catholic?

Also, how did England go Norse? Have the Norse reformed?

Congrats on reforming a religion...

Yes, Egypt was formed as a crusader state but they appear to have assimilated local cultures- rulers are almost all Egyptian and Berber; not sure how a Turkish man ended up as king. That's why it's called a Sultanate instead of a Kingdom in the screenshot. You can also see a small Kingdom of Jerusalem in the Egypt screenshot - it's an Egyptian tributary.
The Germanic faith has not reformed. Two of their holy sites are under Catholic control (the ones in mainland Europe), and the remaining three are controlled by three different rulers. It's spread quite far, though - into Finland and even the Baltic coast/north-eastern Europe, and one province in northern Spain (??). They have 92 moral authority... lots of victorious wars?
The British Isles are pretty much entirely ruled by Norse Germanics, some counties have even culture flipped. So I assume they're long-ruling descendants of Scandinavian conquerors.
Thank you! African definitely has one of the easier reformations in the early starts.

That is one blobby 1000 AD. Sunni Karling in France! Turkish Catholics in Egypt!! Great Job on Reformation!!!
Most definitely. The Sunni Karling probably won't last though - his vassals and lands are still Catholic.
Thank you!

Also, a few updates from when I reloaded my save to check a few things for this response:
West Francia took over Lotharingia.
The Chigil Khaganate put down their revolt, but now the Kirghiz Khaganate is having a large pretender war. The Khazarian Khaganate split apart due to nomadic unstable succession.
England took over the Jomsvikings and are invading Ireland. We may very well see a united Germanic Britain.
