or hopefully even sooner during the beta.:D

It would be awesome to have to order conscripts because one of your sons has decided to depose you. Having to ride into battle againsr your own family. They could even get help from another rival king.

Harold II was forced into battle against his brother and the King of Norway in which he defeated them.

Yes, it´s a great idea, lot of kings across history has suffered the assesin instinct of his sons...

Harold II was forced into battle against his brother and the King of Norway in which he defeated them.

"Harold's brother, Tostig, had been exiled since the autumn of 1065 and had joined with Harald Hardrada of Norway. A combined force landed in Yorkshire in September 1066. Until this time, Harold's attention had been directed toward the south and the invasion that he knew would come from Normandy. But, now, Harold had to break away and march north to meet the new threat that had come. He defeated the forces of his traitorous brother and the King of Norway decisively at the battle of Stamford Bridge on the 25th of September."

absolutely correct, and his victory at Stamford Bridge may have cost him against the Normans. In any event the Ancient warrior sites one of the best examples of siblings fighting in history. Sons should be able to revolt against thier father the king, but only if they hold position like earl or duke, or king of another land that happens to be in vassaltion to the father king.

On a side, nice to see another Koei fan posting to the forums.
