I wonder when the Lapps will convert...

Why did you form Lappland instead of Norway? Your realm controlled most of OTL's Norway in the modern day...

Let us hope that the Lapp-Swedish alliance is long-lasting...

Sweden controlled a lot of the dejure territory I needed for Norway, so I wasn't able to form it. The new King of Sweden is a zealous follower of Odin, so Christianity might not be able to take hold in Sweden regardless of the previous King's conversion. As for Lappland, we shall have to see, Arnoddr I didn't convert because he feared civil war, but a different ruler might think differently. I think that Arnoddr probably wanted to make his most powerful friend and ally happy by converting but he just couldn't risk his realm fracturing like the Swedes almost did.
 
Let's just say that Sweden's new king might not exactly be the friendliest to us... especially if Arnoddr had converted.

I hope you can nibble away at Sweeden to form Norwaym it seems such a shame to be so close to Norways OTL lands and not have the title. You probaly dodged a bullet with Sweeden not staying Christian, that Frankish aliance was powerful.

An ambitious Raumsdalr will definitely agree with you, as there are currently Norse living under the Swedish yoke in those territories too.

I agree, if relations had soured Sweden would have probably started invading. Let's hope that they don't...

What's happening in Denmark? Is it Christianizing or staying Asatru?

Forming the Kingdom of Lappland is interesting. A massive realm but probably struggling population-wise to compete with the more fertile lands of Sweden. Maybe it's time to take to the seas for greener pastures?

Denmark is split between two Jarldoms right now, it isn't really a big player in much of our politics at the moment. It is still Asatru. It is true that although I have much more land than Sweden, it will ultimately not be as developed-- but tribal government is making that disparity less obvious at the moment. Our peace loving Norseman rulers so far haven't seen much raiding, but perhaps a new ruler will feel otherwise...
 
My apologies on the lack of updates, life has been very busy, I do hope T&T will be save game compatible so I can continue this easily!
