Oh well, i couldn't make it in..

but hey, congrats to all you beta guys... have fun and PLEASE never forget us poor souls.. and do your best to improve it...

i'm looking forward to play CK.. but first Vicy.. :D

and there will always be new games to test for me..

*sighs*

Have a fun and good time beta testing, guys. Too bad I won't be there to cheer you all on...:D ;)

NDA

I am not sure, but is anyone even allowed to tell the rest that they have been accepted?

Since it is a non-disclosure agreement, you might want to keep that you were accepted, to yourself, until they say it is OK to tell the rest.

Eric,

No, you're free to tell the world.

Beta testers answer routine questions (when they aren't under the NDA) and talk up the game all the time.

Those who didn't make it in:

Don't be sad. Later you'll be thankful that you weren't chosen.

You see, CK doesn't really exist. This was really just a ploy to slowly bring people into Johan's trust so that they will be eager to go when they receive tickets to fly to Stockholm for the "CK-Beta-Bash".

Then Johan and Patric will kill them all and process them for their meat.

So don't over-analyse why folks did or didn't get in. It could always have been because they have more meat on their bones...

Everyone did remember to send Johan a picture of yourself naked and in proflile with your beta applications, right? :p

Until you sign you are free to tell. ;)

rejected.

*sigh*

Oh well, I'd probably guess it has to do with me currently being in the Pax Romana beta.... Maybe I'll have better luck next time....
I think it was stated expressly by either Patric or Johan that people currently in other Paradox Betas wouldn't be accepted for this one - but I'm not sure. :)

Martinus,

Pax Romana isn't Paradox...

And, yes, he did. Knowing with absolutely certainty that you won't get in and actually seeing that e-mail are two different things, I tell you...

I did that! Which may be why the server went down last weekend when Patric saw my picture and Barfed on it.

How do you know that you have been rejected, did you received a rejection email? Thx.

Yeah, I got the email - I'm only speculating as to the reason, though, since it has been said that those in the Victoria beta were automatically rejected, I'm guessing that those in betas for other companies were rejected to. I'd be curious to know if this is actually the case, though.

nah... after weeding out people due to bandwidth, computers, country, age etc, we just removed vicky-betas... and then randomly picked people that had fun "why do I want to beta" reasons.

Ah, I see - thanks for the reply. :)

So, there was a criteria for removing people due to country? I hadn't heard that before....
