Well... on the Victoria betatesting, Alexandru H. was chosen and he lives in Romania. He always tells me that many online shops refuse credit cards from Romania because of the high pirateering levels there... and he was chosen for the Vicky betatesting. So I see no relationship on this.

Now, its clear! With dial-up connection, with a country were pirating prospers and no "fun" reason for wanting to be beta

Second of all, Cornelius, sorry...it's tough to live in a region where "that thing" is considered the best way to play the game... but I think your dial-up connection destroyed your chances....

Is it because you have to download the beta game from the net? or just for testing multiplayer?

i think that due to the fact that there would be a roughly representative body of players (french, german, english, scottish etc) heck i got picked since im the only slovak on these here forums and one of the few ppl that speak czech too
learn a little known language (latvian or something) and apply for beta or dont even bother!
