That's awesome! :D

Great, I'll let you know if I need some help. :)

Tweaked the map a bit, here's a screenie of a more zoomed in view.

The arms of Connaught, arms of the O'Conor family isn't done yet. I'm working on a more real heraldic tree and the map is still in alpha mode. ;))

Still I haven't decided on the size of the shields yet so that might change as well as the style of the map. :)

I'd love to see borders. :eek:o :D

I'm quite pleased with the water, working on making land-areas more realistic and I'll add rivers as well.

I'd love to add borders but I'm gonna need help with those fpr sure... :)

As ever, t'is a work of sheer beauty. You are missing some rivers from the North of England, but I'll let you off. :D

Can you please make me a beautiful shield of King Stephen's arms? It's the best-looking arms of a King of England (along with Richard II's of course), and I've only been waiting a year so far. :eek:o :p

Got some new "previews"

Currently taking a break from the shields and working on the site, registered a website address as well. (www.armorial-bearings.com) the mapview will look something like this, (smaller, more zoomed in and detailed though).

Map showing europe in around 1200.

I should have written the duchy of Merania (or duchy of Dalmatia), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duchy_of_Merania, the Andechs dynasty was the rulers, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counts_of_Andechs.

i meant like this site
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalmatia

and also , see below, i think you mix up pisa with amalfi in the red with white cross

http://vec.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republiche_marinare

or this site is in error, and you are correct and the blue with whit cross is amalfi

No mix up. Here's how both arms looks like. :)

Well today Bohemia also have a lion with a double tail, but that comes from the House of Luxembourg.
I guess it's similar. :)
the lion of Bohemia comes already from Přemyslid era.. it was fully established as symbol of Bohemia in early 13th century (king Václav/Wenceslas I. and Ottokar II.)

The coat used by Birger is coat of Premyslid dynasty which was used also as symbol of Bohemia up to 13th century... for 1200 both could be used (but I personaly would prefer the Lion)
I might be little wrong with dates, though.

Awesome GFX! And Mandead, get your arse on msn.
