I have one more question.

After SR is downloaded and JSGME is put into my main directory and I turn on the SR mod does it automatically work?

If everything is properly installed, yes. You should see the Southern Cross and General Lee as the game loads.

SR is turned on in the JSGME thing yet I do not see Lee or the Cross when it loads.

Then you have made a mistake in the install. Please re-read the directions again and follow them *to the letter*.

If it still doesn't work, post and I'll do what I can, but I'm not sure what I can add to what's already in the Read Me.

Ok redownloaded everything. Activated the mod. Started to play. I still didn't see the cross or Lee. However an error popped up. "Weeling all ready owned by yankee but wanted by dixie" or something to that effect.

Definitely something wrong, and that's not an error SR can cause. If you don't see the SR load screen, then the SR files are somewhere JSGME can't find them. The MODS/Southern Revolutions folder should be in the main Victoria folder itself, BTW.

I'm very sorry to say without more info, I don't know what to suggest.

The MOD folder containing SR is in the main directory as well as the JSGME as your instructions say.

Again, I'm at a loss. Could be a score different things--corrupted install, JSGME crash, etc.

I'm very sorry, but there's no advice I can give in good conscience without more info.

My deepest apologies, and my thanks for giving SR a shot.

V1.7

Not really playing much Ricky these days (thanks, HoI Patch Team!:)), but while researching my CA mod I came across some new CSA leaders for SR. Since there's little else to add for the nonce, I share them with y'all in this update:

V1.7
--Added James Franklin Bell, Leonidas Polk, John Hunt Morgan, and Fox Conner to the CSA leaders file.

Download it at the usual spots--enjoy the new simplified install!:

Excellent, thanks Badass!

But yea, the new HoI patch is great, takes up too much of my time I'm afraid ;)

You're most welcome, my friend!

Just downloaded the new version, so far it is working fine with Frederikus_Rex's flag pack.

Is that the "More Flags" mod? If so, that's interesting, because I didn't do anything deliberate to make that happen.

So how'd you get it to work?

Thanks for the post!

Yes it's the more flags pack. I basically just installed it, then tried it out, then installed Southern Revolutions. I'm not sure if everything works but all of the flags seem to be right and it did not crash or anything so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ;)

It has been brough to my attention that converted V:R games no longer work with the Armageddon v1.3 beta patches because of the new intelligence system. Please adjust any usage of my mods accordingly.

Unfortunatley I have determined that Fredrikus Rex's flag mod does not work as I originally informed you. After additional testing I have determined that none of the flag changing events from that mod fire for some reason. Although I later checked to make sure and the War of the Nations mod IS perfectly compatible with this mod.
