In AoW1, Elf victory was canon. It was kind of close to highmen, but explicitely with the older races staying on Athla. AoW2/SM had no real choices, so their main storyliens are just canon. in 3, Sundren Torchbearer is canon, as is Edward Torchbearer insofar it doesn't conflict with Sundren's version. (i.e., Edward is slightly less capable, and got to the Oscilliator Gem after Werlac. Therefore, those dwarves didn't need to betray him, because Werlac already studied the gem. It has no real consequences except for when the betrayer dwarves were defeated.) GR has no choices and is canon, and in EL, the shadowborn ending is indeed canon.
