Vicky 3 would be welcome from their main franchises. However, if they wanted to make heads explode, I'd love to see a prehistoric era game with various hunter/gather tribes struggling to survive, protect or secure new hunting grounds, and eventually perhaps found early agricultural civilizations in the late game.

Oh, Chris King is back at Paradox? Well, I have been hoping for Vicky 3, and that is looking up with this news.

Does anyone have any info on this? It would be great if somebody made a thread which followed and gathered all the tiny little breadcrumb leads and hints Paradox are dropping ...

I just looked at their job offerings, and from that conclude that it could very well be a console game.

They have several project under development and what there project are we do not know but it is definitely resonable to assume they will develop console games because why not.
Oh i agree. Im also thinking that in regards to Vicky 3 with Kings regent addition if the game is in Development we are looking at something like 2 years until release.

Thats my dream since i discovered Paradox games. A game that makes you colonize europe/asia/africa, create your own culture and country with rp elements like ck2 and then, a second part after a timejump when you manage an early agricultural civilization.
And then a serie of games with the export option to create a mega campaign where:
Ancient civilization game > classical civilization game > roman timeframe game > ck2 > eu IV > vicky III

Paradox have several projects underway as well as having people working on their released games.

Yes, I'll try to be more clear : let us see what paradox achieves with Stellaris and Hoi4. Considering the current state of these games, I don't feel myself inclined to look forward to whatever their next game could be.

I tell you what. If one of the games is v3 it better be a rock solid release. If you think people have been disappointed or complained about aspects of stellaris or hoi4 then a poor v3 release would be like a hydrogen bomb going off.
