When your CPU overheats, it cycles down so it runs slower but not as hot.

A ram disk is a program that simulated a diskdrive in memory.
Basically it copies all the files from the Hard disk into main memory.
This earns you a much faster transfer speed.

They do tend to run hotter.

Well you own the game how long does it take on your system.

And 7 inches for a day. :)

I assume you mean 7 minutes, the answer is something is wrong with his system if it is taking 7 minutes for 1 day. ;)

I don't know what speed he is playing at, It should not take that long on faster speeds.

Let me know how it goes on your system.

Could I get a little bit more info on that ram disk setup? Also any type of URLs or such where I could analyze if this is a worthy investment. Thanks, guys.
Nothing to buy, just setup.

Yes this is an even bigger difference for Paradox games even since they don't just have a dozen or so players(AI NAtions) but many more.

He is saying normal speed HOI1 equal normal speed HOI2.
It is only on the faster speeds that HOI2 is slower than HOI1

Seams complete to me.
I also think the second line clearly already answered your question.

Interesting tip.
