Is it me or is 'Iroquois' spelled incorrectly in the game?

When I play it is spelled 'Iroqouis'. Now I'm no fancy lawyer from the city (and the crowd goes 'ooooohhh'), but I'm pretty sure it's spelled IROQUOIS. Since they were named by French explorers, it would not make sense to have it spelled 'Iroqouis' since after a 'q' in French, you always have a 'u'.

Anyone can corroborate?

Yes, it's 'Iroquois.' And while we're at the business of spelling, it's 'Independence,' not 'Independance' in the scenario name. There's a few others, but they escape me for the moment.

Valid points--but *minor* quibbles--related to this wonderful game.

There's no shortage of spelling and grammatical errors in the game if you care to look for them. Apparently the German version is far worse, though. They are a minor annoyance, and don't detract from gameplay IMHO.

neither are most of the players (including myself = French), but we still can pick them out :D

Like I said, no biggie

Two province names I noticed

The province name should be 'Wuerttemberg' (the 'ue' stands for a u with two dots on top), not 'Wurtemburg'. Not really a biggie, it just clashes with my regional sensibilities a bit. ;) And if I remember correctly from reading Oranje's AAR, the German version refers to 'Flandres'; the proper German spelling of that province would be 'Flandern'. Again, no big deal. As everybody else said, these are really minor concerns and don't detract from gameplay. :)

ALL YOUR PROVINCE ARE BELONG TO US

More Spelling Errors

Spelling errors in province.csv:
(some words occur and are misspelled more than once, for provinces and bodies of water)
Massachusetts (incorrectly spelled Massachussetts)
Mississippi (incorrectly spelled Mississipi)
Minnesota (as listed above)
Manila (incorrectly spelled Manilla)
Hokkaido (incorrectly spelled Hokaido once)
Chesapeake (incorrectly spelled Cheasapeake)
Ryukyu (incorrectly capitalized as RyuKyu)
Hartford (as listed above)
Iroquois (as listed above)
There is somewhere (river name?) where a K needs to be capitalized, but I forgot the name.

I tried editing the csv files myself using a text editor (not Excel), being careful not to change the file format, but the scenarios won't load if I do so. I get an error saying catholic.txt cannot be found, and the game exits to the desktop. How do you edit the csv files safely?
