Now that we have the Antigonid Kingdom and Seleukid Empire, the Hellenic Kingdom in the East that stands out is Ptolemaic Egypt. While I understand that the Ptolemies leaned more into the Egyptian identity, I still think they ought to be renamed. This is largely to make it consistent with the other two major Hellenic states in the east, and the way "native" realms interact with them:
Egypt occupies not only the land, but also the "legitimate" tag of Egypt. This means that any actual Egyptian tag that pushes out the Ptolemies are in a bit of a pickle: Forming Egypt requires Egypt not to exist, and it is far from unlikely - in fact quite the opposite - that Egypt will have conquered swathes of Anatolia, Greece, and potentially the Black Sea once you finally secure the lands of the Nile. This leads to the odd situation where a Kemetic, Egyptian nation in control of all of Egypt has to hunt down the provinces of a Macedonian, Hellenic nation all the way to the Hellespont before they can claim the name "Egypt", which is frustrating and feels very gamey.
I propose, then, that the Hellenic Egypt is renamed to "Ptolemaic Kingdom", with an option to "go native", as it were. Integrate it with the Serapsis Cult, and allow the Ptolemaic Kingdom to adopt Egyptian customs and religion, swapping their tag to reflect this development. This would also allow a distinction in representation between a Ptolemaic dynasty attempting to restore Alexander's Empire, and a Ptolemaic dynasty focusing on ruling the Nile and keeping their bloodline pure.
