Splitting Armies - Dissapearing Divisions

Whenever I try to detach/split an army the new corps formed dissapears . I dont get any manpower, the units are not in the roster. I think I have version 1.03 as I just got it before christmas. Any help?

pause the game first, then create the new unit and split as you want
then they never disappear.

some staff will probably give some more technical information
