So i did the crisis path and over all its a pretty fun one but there are things i feel really need to be ironed out
1) The animations of the behemoth need to be better, his moving animation feels too stiff, the tentacles on his side which i imagine is meant to help propel him just stay super rigid. He moves more like a worm than a dragon/squid. Another thing is they definitely need a "resting" animation like all the other space creatures have where they are not doing anything. They constantly fidgeting no matter what.
The eating a planet animation is probably the thing i dislike the most, he chomps on it like some kind of apple when in the trailer their mouth is shown to be much bigger than the planet and was looking like it was gonna eat it in one go (heck they refer to it as a snack). Personnaly feel it should open its jaws wide then slam down in one go.
2)Change the "computer" of the behemoths, only the stage 4 one gets the collossus computer which is ok but they all have the "swarm" corvette type computer which makes them look ridiculous as they just turn around in circles like a corvette. Heck had 2 behemoths get into a fight and the looked absolutely silly just going around in circles. Give them either the ether drake type behaviour or a "line" behaviour.
3) Fix the ai of the elder voidspawn, the bloody thing gets stuck in a system and just stays there. Not really much of a threat due to that.
4) Uncap the growth rate, capping the growth rate of the final stage in the growing pains situation is a massive mistake in my opinion. I had a large empire due to needing to feed my behemoths and i had to wait a ridiculously long time and on top of that i got the increasing debuffs. Wasnt particularly fun. The other 2 crisis do not have anything like that, its like if i could only harvest a certain amount of dark matter per year no matter how many stars i blew up.
What i would suggest is un cap the growth rate BUT if you are in any stance other than digestion it is capped at 555%. Also probably make the digestion debuffs a bit harsher and maybe some cooldown between changing stance.
5) The behemoth "harvesting" planet populations is wonky as heck. Sometimes they drop one army, sometimes 5, sometimes they fail their invasion by refusing to send any more armies.
6) The devs said that enraged behemoths are stonger but they dont really seem to be. I get the manual enraging is a "sneaky" way of getting the behemoth to attack a planet of another empire on its own.
7) A bit minor and i get its pretty dang hard but i do miss the "different endings" the cosmogenesis offered even if the result is still the same.
8) Why is this not locked to determined exterminators and rogue servitors. For DE pretty much in all their dialogue and event choices they make it clear their disgust and hate extends to ALL organics no just sapients (they cant even use the civic for space fauna ships or any of the associated techs). So for them to be able to not only use bioships but to upload themselves into the very thing they hate makes zero sense. Its like i hate fish and i decide to upload myself into a fish. For rogue servitors also makes no sense considering the behemoths are gonna be eating all the organics rather than keeping them safe.
9) Applies to cosmogenesis but why does it not have a unique ai personnality associated with it?
