I'm playing version 0.10 as the US. Everything was going fine until I hit 1943. I saved the game sometime around February, '43 and went to load it. Problem was, the game crashed while loading up the scenario. I was angry, but figured the save game was screwed up so I picked up again from '42. This time, I took more precautions, making two seperate save games at a time. I saved in July of '43.

Today, I come back and find that upon opening either file, the game crashes to desktop. All pre-1943 saves work, and vanilla and HSR work fine, so I'm pretty sure its a problem in CORE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am unsure if simply upgrading solves the problem, but it could be worth a shot.
I was referring to your save games. The problem for new games, at least, will go away for sure. Sorry for the confusion.

Would my saves still be compatible then?
I reckon they will be. There is a quickfix for 0.10, but 0.11 contains several bugfixes enhancing overall gameplay. So I'd advise you to upgrade.

Nope. It still crashes while loading the saved game.

As already stated, the issue is solved with 0.11 (a models number issue). Your current save game is incompatible, and will not load, as it still has the invalid model numbers. You can edit the save (IIRC, it's transport model numbers that are a problem), but you will still miss out on the other changes made by 0.11, which may or may not cause other compatibility issues. You are best off by updating to 0.11 and starting fresh.

Follow the links to teh 21vikings site, there's a thread with instructions there. I don;t have a direct link handy ATM.
