Sprite, where are thou?

Does anyone at all think of making new sprites? I know there are a lot of them, but a lot more are missing . What about UK tanks, French tanks, all infantry sprites. Nachinus did a splendid job in infantry sprites, but I wish someone made completely new ones, not make old ones nicer.

There are really some good models out there, especially at civfanatics.com. Anyone?

There are also many great looking 3D models on the Stony Road sprite forums just waiting to be turned into sprites... *sigh*

As kristoff said, the sprite project is far from finished with many countries still lacking important sprites, and yet I haven't seen a single new sprite since the summer.

I can only hope someone will continue the work of the former sprite masters who have apparently abandoned the community.

I have absolutely no graphical skills. Well okay, I have some, as I have successfully fixed the errors in certain sprites, but those skills are way too limited to even think about creating new sprites from scratch.

Where does one obtain a copy of milkshape? Is that the program used for making HOI sprites?

What I would want to see is some SS infanety sprites for CORE, long black coats and nice little helmets
