Why is this event-borne division made just 1/2 strenght of normal Mot. divison?

Because it wasn't a division sized unit until, IIRC, 1942. In 1939 it was only a reinforced regiment.

And they weren't Lieb (loveable) but Leib (body/life) Standarte

Yes. The old regiment gets removed from the map and a new division appears in Berlin.

Yes it will be replaced with a panzer division around 1942, having a full 100% max strength.

Thats great,I just watched Discovery Civiliastion channel and there was mention of strenghtened SS-Leibstandarte division as an elite division on disposal of Army Group South(Manstein-)during offensive from Krimea towards East Ucraine and Caucasus ina second half of 1942.
What a deep and profaund mod CORE is ! I like it more and more every day.
