Have just bought 'Europa Universalis' and finished off the installation
process (without any problems). Then when trying to start the game, I
get the first black 'Europa Universalis' ad page and then it reverts
back to Win98, CD working, reverts back to a black page and then back to
Win98 again and after that nothing more.

Being far from a professional, I still think I should be fulfilling the
minimum requirements having a P450, 128M Ram, 900M of HD, Riva TNT2
Ultra, Sounblaster AudioPCI64v

Glad for any help or recommendations

Not sure I can help,

From earlier complaints I gathered that if you have more than one cd rom, make sure you put the game cd in the first one.

Further: close down as many resident programs as you can, before starting the game.

If that doesn't help: check if you have the latest driver for your video card.

Your hardware shouldn't be the problem I think.

greetings, Oranje
