I would like to add a few events into the game. First question is how to trigger them rapidly and with ease, so I can check they work as intended? I guess triggering procedure is different depending of the nature of the event, right?

I also find that <eventscopes> is a handy tool rigth after you have triggered the event using the <event> command

When tou have triggered the event and the event window is up you can use eventscope command to see what scopes are currently active. It is very useful when trying to figure out what is ROOT and such. There was a couple of events in the 1.0 where the dev team should have used it :)

In case of an anomaly, how can I trigger the ones I'm creating as soon as possible?
Are you talking about spawning anomalies in-game that you have created?

If that's the case, you can use the <add_anomaly> console command in-game to spawn an anomaly category of your choice on a selected surveyed planet, presumably the corresponding anomaly category that you have made for your anomaly.

Edited for clarity

Oh, yeah, while remembering it. Usually you can catch most errors in your eventfiles by just strating the first game screen, you don't have to start an actual game. Just check the error.log (in \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\logs) after starting the game.

That speeds up the process to clean up the first rounds of syntax and scopes and basic stuff...
