I've got a question regarding getting the static portraits to work. I'm noobing hard on this

I've checked the wiki, and have even downloaded other mods with static portraits (that work) to try and retrofit theirs with my portraits, and so far no matter what I've done, no dice. Either I break the game, or nothing happens.

So, if someone would be kind enough, I'd love to get a very basic mouth breather's guide to putting the stupid portrait(s) in the game, and then getting the mod to steam - just a bullet-pointed step by step. If you'd like, I'll even do a custom portrait for you for your trouble (I'm that frustrated at this point).

I realize that I'm probably over looking something very basic and simple, but I am at a loss. Any help, I'd be greatly appreciateive - and I'm serious about the custom portrait for your trouble. Just check the link in my sig if not familiar with my work.

Thanks,
~S
