A Danish AAR
Part 1: Introduction
Difficulty levels: Hard/Normal newest patch.

Copenhagen, Kanslersgade 10.
Meeting at the Prime Minister's home. Present at the meeting are:
Prime Minister (HoG) Thorvald Stauning,
Foreign Minister Peter Munch,
Armaments Minister Alsing Andersen and
Minister of Security Karl Kristian Steincke.
Stauning: "I have called you to my home in order to discuss the future of this country. We know that we live in a dangerous era and that Denmark can easily be drawn into war with its neighbours. The new nationalist government i Germany is a thread to our security as well as the English wish to get access to the Baltic Sea! Gentlemen we must be aware of these dangers and take the necessary precautions... Andersen can you give an report on our military situation?”
Andersen: “I will do so. At the moment our land forces consist of 1. Jydske Divison. It is currently stationed in Aarhus, but have been ordered to Kolding in order to take up positions along our southern border. Our navy consists of the two heavy cruisers “Niels Juel” and “Peder Skram” and two submarine flotillas, these are of course stationed at Holmen in Copenhagen. The Air force only consist of a small number of old Fokker reconnaissance planes.”
Stauning: “Thank you Andersen.
Munch, as foreign minister can you tell me who we should fear the most?”
Munch: “Prime minister, I do not like making early conclusions, but I think we should be prepared for an attack on our southern border, the North Sea is not ideal for amphibious landings and our navy should be able to protect Store Bält and Öresund.”
Stauning: “Steincke, do you agree?”
Steincke: “Yes, Prime minister”
Stauning: “Do we then have appropriate forces to defend our southern border Andersen?”
Andersen: “With our current military strength we would not stand a chance! We need a further two divisions, an anti air brigade, more artillery and antitank guns! Furthermore we need planes... our troops cannot fight without prober air support! And the navy could use more ships. Destroyers would be my choice by I would have to talk to the admiralty as I am not an expert in the field of the maritime.”
Stauning: “Well, this all sounds expensive to me! Where are we going to get the resources to make all these weapons?”
Munch: “Perhaps I can provide an answer to that question Prime minister. Earlier this morning I had a meeting with the British ambassador and representatives of the Märsk Group at D'Angleterre (famous hotel in Copenhagen), at which a trade agreement was signed...”
Stauning: “How wonderful! Now we must start the production of artillery and planes. And we should also start some research, perhaps in guns too... I know that the Rifle Syndikat are masters in these matters, so we should ask them to do the job. I hereby declare this meeting for ended.”
