Have any of you moved from windows to steam deck?

If so how do you get your save across?
I thought the game saved via the cloud but that doesn't actually seem to be the case, whilst playing on Epic anyway.

That means I need to move a folder I assume but which and to where?

Saves on the Windows version are in C:/users/{UserName}/documents/Paradox Interactive/Surviving the Aftermath/SaveGames folder. If you are doing Windows emulation under the SD then you'd need to find the equivalent folder there.

I am not doing emulation....least I dont think so but will have a look around and see if I can find the save folder there.

Thanks

As there is no Linux edition of this game, there must be some sort of Windows emulation involved?

I really don't know how it works, there's something steam deck uses called Proton so maybe it's that or another thing called WINE, I really don't know.

What I can say is what I do know and thats this.

I installed something that allows me to install other game launchers such as epic/ubisoft etc and so I installed epic. Then I installed Surviving the Aftermath and added that none steam game to my steam where I can load it and play.

I have managed to copy my save to and from the deck anyway. Epic doesn't have cloud saves for this game which is annoying but nevermind.
