Steam Keys for Stellaris: Symbols of Domination and Augustus -> error 400

Hi,

I preordered Stellaris and found steam keys for the bonus dlcs in my paradox account. When I click the Activate-button, I got this error msg "Could not activate Steam Key: Too many bad activation code attempts in period (status code 400)"

I didnt press the button much so I am wondering how this is possible? Is this a wrong error message?

And: will the steam key for the bonus material be ready at release?

i dont know about the special error but i think it need stellaris game before it can activate on steam but as i said that is what i thinks it is

The clicker game.

'Project Augustus' was also the codename of Stellaris when Paradox first began teasing us, before they revealed just what kind of game it would be.

Depends on where you pre-ordered from. If you pre-ordered from Steam you already have a 'key' and the game will be playable once it is unlocked, if you pre-ordered from the Paradox store hopefully they will send out keys some time before the game goes live on Monday. Release will probably be 1800 BST (GMT Summertime) that day as that is when Valve's business hours have started.

If you pre-ordered from other retailers, it depends on when Paradox sends them their keys and when they decide to pass those on to you.

That's because Steam won't allow you to activate DLC for a game you don't own. Once Paradox gives us our Steam keys for the base game we can redeem them.

Glad to hear I thought I deleted the key somehow

I wasn't able to use the activate button so I just registered the keys manually on Steam to get the DLC's
