Steam: Where the eff are my savegames???

I need to reinstall because the 1.03 patch on Steam was stuffed and gets the wrong checksum. But I don't want to loose my game, and there is no "savegame" folder in the ck2 directory like there is in every other single paradox game, so where are the files stored? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reinstalling the game from Steam will not touch your user files, such as save games and settings.txt
