Automatic Survey ridiculous pathing issues

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Recently acquired technology for automatic survey, decided to set a few of my far flung ships to do so. However they COMPLETELY ignore systems adjacent to them to fly through systems not even surveyed.
I reported this before but I cannot get lucky on my searches to find it.
Automatic Survey should in all cases immediately survey the closest unexplored system.
(iron man save included, picture shows path the ignorant scout ship will take)
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Select scout, set to automatic survey
