Stellaris Client Multiplayer Problem: Cannot play as previous Empire.

Playing Multiplayer with my bro: he as both DLCs and I currently have none.
We have played through 100 years in 2 separate sessions. In trying to play in the 3rd session I couldn't play as my previous empire.
During the join cycle where I am selecting empire my Cyberion Company is not shown. All the other empires are there that I can play but the previous empire is not there.
In game, my empire is shown as previously played by me but when joining I have no option in joining.
The only problems that I could think of is that I changed my empire's name and that I turned my population into synths.
Really sucks that we cannot continue our game.

Same problem here with many different savegames, but noy synths, no name change etc...

Ok. So it seems to be a problem with the game continuing after a indefinite amount of time has been played.
Or it is a random chance that the program doesn't register that the client was the previous player for that save.

Well is this savegame from the 1.5 patch that was released on thursday if not then that might be the problem.
Regardless this is the wrong forum, if u want help with bugs u should post it in the bugs section so that an Admin/Dev of the game could help u.
