New thread for discussion originally on forum "stellaris-will-not-start.1565752"

Game uninstalled, system rebooted, and re-installed. Drivers are up-to-date according to Windows and NVIDIA control panel. Same symptoms when starting directly from stellaris.exe file. Tried other recommendations in other thread. Attached are DXDIAG and Windows event log file.

Has this game ever worked on this machine? Or never yet?

We see some Bluescreen events in that dxdiag, which indicate a Windows, driver or hardware fault. Have you seen those happen, are they associated with this game or something else? Next time you get one, record he text on that screen for us.

And you should unload Sonic Studio, or prevent it running at boot time then reboot.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

Bluescreen-I've never actually see a bluescreen-is not associated with Stellaris not starting. I have had a couple of other games-beta versions-lock up, so I assume the event is associated with them not Stellaris.

Sonic removed-I think but haven't rebooted since I didn't want to lose this post. Will update shortly.

Attached are the requested files: error.log says it's empty when attempting to attach. exceptions.log does not exist.

Rebooted after removal of Sonic Studio. Update a few other drivers via motherboard app. Rebooted again. Stellaris now starts normally. Not sure what resolved the issue(s)...
