I'm new to stellaris so I don't have any previously saved games. And when the game tries to autosave or I try to manualy save my game it crushes. Also when I run the launcher up there's an error shows up saying that "there is no write / read permission in the game data folder".

So the update how to fix it so everyone with the same problem can see it:

For those who will have the EXACT same issue being new to the game (meaning you don't have any previously saved games). So You probaly have Win 10 as me and Win Defender on so:

1. Launch the game
2. Open your Task manager and find Paradox Launcer process then Right click -> open folder -> copy full destination to the file ( For me its C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Programs\Paradox Interactive\launcher\launcher-v2.2021.9)
3. Start the game and find Stellaris process in Task Manager then Right click -> open folder -> copy full destination to the file
4. Open Windows defender tab -> Virus and thread protection-> Virus and thread protection settings (manage settings)
5. Add an exclusion in "controlled folder access" and "exlusions" as a file type (thats where you'll need destination to the file)

Worked for me

Well, that error explains what is causing the crash (the game tries to make a savegame, but your operating system doesn't allow it), but it's very strange you'd have that issue. Something apparently went very wrong during installation. You might want to turn to tech support for help: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/stellaris-tech-support.942/

So..... I did turned to tech sup. and they told me to visit this forum. And yes. I did reinstalled the game on other HDD, and got the same issue

UPD: Issue solved by making exceptions for Stellaris.exe and Paradox launcher.exe in process permissions tab and folder r/w controll tab
Thx: everybody
