Stellaris freezes on exit after installing latest nvidea driver 536.23

it always freezes on exit, even if I just load it to main menu, have to kill process

no mods, did a clean reinstall, was happening with 3.8.3 and still happens with 3.8.4

I haven't seen other such reports, as yet anyway. If you revert to a previous nVidia version does that fix it for you? If so best to report that to nVidia.

yes, works fine with the previous driver

i also reported to nvidea at the same time as here, but thought i should let you know, just in case

ok, nvidea sent me a link to a clean install tool

using that followed by reinstalling the driver fixed the issue, even though i tried using the clean install option from the driver installation previously
