Stellaris keeps crashing when it auto saves. [Xbox]

On the xbox stellaris console edition my game only crashes when it saves the game. It's really frustrating when I'm playing with Iron man mode on as well. I'm pretty much in the late game territory so time runs slower so when the game crashes I'm losing like 3 to 4 months of in game time. I never had a game crash so much in my life.

Is this only since the recent patch on the consoles?

Does it happen with a new galaxy started since then, or only an older save from before that patch?

Yeah it's in an older game before the patch I do believe. So far its only that game but that's my only game that I have gotten really far and been able to try out the dlc I bought. I been having fun playing the play threw until it just crashes a lot.

It may be there is some degree of save game incompatibility between the two game versions. Let us know if you get such issues in a new galaxy started under the current patch.
