Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Decided to declare total war on the AI empire that had anointed itself the "galactic custodian for life". The colossus fired and killed their last planet. The box saying "custodians no more" pops up and their territory disappears and then the game promptly white-screens at the turn to the next day. I tried to do it at various time settings. Fastest, normal, and slowest all still crash the game. My computer is pretty powerful so I didn't think it was a performance issue but I tried these out to see. What I get is the white screen of death for the game and then I have to kill the game. Well mostly a white screen. All that appears is a tiny semi-grayed out image at the top left? I've caused this to occur a few times and it looks like it may definitely be a tiny version of the galaxy screen? It also seems to die not on the day but as it ticks to the next day? Not sure because it's pretty sudden even on slowest? Not sure what is going on there - see attached image. No idea if it helps.

I destroyed a fallen empire this way in the same game and did not encounter this issue. It was only this time when it was the AI galactic custodian.

Not sure what other details are needed. Can provide more.

I killed them using my colossus world cracker on each habitat and then swapping to pacifier for each planet. Final world was a planet which I pacified. I logged a separate bug/issue/question per the world cracker being the only colossus weapon you can use on habitats now. Not sure if feature or bug. I also noticed that loading games got a little strange after this occurred and I restarted the game. I click on load game it takes a few clicks to get it to actually open properly. Seems like something got bugged in the game somehow by me doing this?

I will see if a reboot fixes the issue and reply to the thread if it does somehow...

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Play a game of Stellaris. Let an AI become Galactic Custodian. Decided to kill them for whatever reason by using the colossus world cracker on each habitat and the pacifier on each world (you can't kill habitats with anything but the world cracker now?).

Rebooting doesn't fix the issue. I considered a graphics issue so I tried making sure I was in the solar system screen - still crashed. Also tried taking it out of window mode into a borderless window. Again it crashes EXACTLY AT THE TURN TO THE NEXT DAY. So I'm pretty sure it's note graphics related.

In FACT... I literally saved the game the day the weapon fired just after it fired and before it hits the next calendar day in the game. Each time I get the "galactic custodian no more"...

But the moment the tick comes to turn to the next calendar day in game - boom - game crashes. There is some calculation or series of events following the destruction of the AI entity galactic custodian that occur the next day that crash the game if you do this.

Also as a note - I am not the crisis in this game. Well not via ascension perk anyways...
