A great thing about all new Paradox games is that they run on Linux natively and the same is going to be true about Stellaris apparently.
That said, both CK2 and EU4 have huge issues regarding multiplayer support between Linux and Windows: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/linux-host-windows-client-desync.865292/ (it doesn't work - never has), and seeing as Stellaris will use the Clausewitz engine (https://www.reddit.com/r/Stellaris/comments/3g5ajs/will_this_game_use_the_same_engine_as_eu_4/) I assume the desync issues to be persistent.
Is there any guarantee/statement that Stellaris (or HOI4/any other future game for that matter) will actually work in Linux2Windows multiplayer? This will impact my future game/DLC purchases as I want to play these games with friends.
