Parece que tengo un problema similar. ¿El tuyo muestra el lanzador de Microsoft pero el lanzador de Paradox falla?
Yes

Same, I have yet to find anything useful in getting it to launch. I have reinstalled 15 different times on two different drives. If you happen to find something, post it here because I am completely out of options here.

Can you guys check if there are any logs generated in your \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris GamePass folder? In particular the crashes folder. We've had a hard time replicating this so we're at a bit of a loss here.

Also, for anyone with this same issue, if you check the installation directory for Stellaris there's a Stellaris application file, if you run that it should skip the launcher, does that start the game?

I've fixed my installation by uninstalling the game from the previous default location c:\program files\windowsapps\ , and installing it under one of the the offered options D:\Xbox Apps\ (I'm pretty sure C:\XboxGames would work too). Most likely the launcher has an issue accessing c:\program files\windowsapps\ , which MS do lock down pretty hard, and I guess they've learned that lesson and moved the games to somewhere accessible by normal users.

Although why only this game seemed to be affected I have no idea.

Don't run it as the Admin user, that's not necessary.

I have, and I see you are running the game as Admin. Just as your screenshots says. Please don't do that, it causes problems all by itself.

And I'd much prefer you respond with text and screenshots, not movies. Thanks.

Well, with all the respect in the world, I think you didn't pay attention. I'll hope that one day an update will fix the problem, just like the last update messed it up.
Thanks for your help.

This isn't something we can fix as it's not the games fault. What I think has happened is that the gamepass app/most recent Windows update changed permissions and since you've got it installed in the Windowsapps folder it most likely won't work. Please try what Andrew suggested above:

  1. Uninstall the game
  2. Open the game pass app
  3. Click your name at the top left > Settings > General
  4. Change the default folder to something else (standard one is C:\XboxGames)
  5. Reinstall the game to that folder
  6. Launch it without Administrator options
