Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have "Improoved Strike Craft" in the tech options, at 6001/6000 progress.
I think I got the option and some progress from the Caraveneers Derilict Ship.
However I propably got that bonus when my empire Sprawl was a bit larger, so I got 6001 progress - but since then my Empire Sprawl has gone down

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Load up savegame
2. Engienering Research Target
3. "Improoved Strike Craft" technology

Addendum: After selecting, the Tech was registered as finished on the 8th or 9th of the month.
