Hello Stellar people!

The Dev Diary to the Hotfix Version 2.6.1 said that it would fix the desyncs (which I already had in 2.6) but it didn't. Randomly, unxepectedly, and without any trigger, you are out of sync and not able to click anything (like research and ship commands) and sometimes the game is even frozen for a few seconds and then there is an error. I can't do anything against it and it doesn't matter who is the host or how big the galaxy is.

In hope it gets fixed soon

fix desyncs game unplayable
 
Yup, really bad desyncs after 130 pased. In 3 people we can play max 5 min without desing then lag then the game wont taken clicks. also caraveneers interface bugs out and somehow loses all interaction making it impossible to close. SO far speed is decent but the desinks are making the game unplayable. Good thing i did not buy federations. If you fix desink prob i might consider it.
 
Yea I've been playing with 3 people and its gotten to the point where as soon as we unpause the game it goes out of sync after a minute. This was a problem before but It's gotten worse. I've never had this issue before. I could play a good hour then i'd go out of sync but now since the new update, its worse and unavoidable.
 
we had multiple games by now desyncing around mid-game, and one which did not yet desync in late game.
interestingly, the one which did not, involved more players.

hardware or internet connection seemed not to be the issues.

every desync always happened at first of month ingame time. (01 or 02), most usually detected for random_count. rehosting the proper way (all join before unpause) does not mitigate the issue: it just desyncs a few months later.

hotjoins still desync after a while (~10 min on fastest) but that is a different issue.

we did blame xeno breeding, as all desyncs until now had one empire species (e.g. ketlings) going super crazy with xeno breeding. but not sure as the one game without desyncs had also multiple empires doing it.
 
Played a bit last night, game speed is decent but desincs are a killer, now it desincs as soon as game starts, usually random_count and pops related. Please fix. adding a save game

The reason empire is a big mess is that we are playing the game in desinc, last night when we saved i was on + resorces now i see this.

Also friend jugg is gone after he upgraded it and loaded the game. Also at one point moving unemployed pops its not working but for some reason you can move employed pops of same type.

What we do now is load game play 10-20 min under desinc and remake the game to move pops send trade and other stuff that otherwise not working.

What i wanna add is that using beta_test server (paradox servers from what i know) maybe makes the game slightly more stable BUT at the cost of making the loading of the save taking at least 15 minutes that is crazy. On the other hand using opt out of all beta (maybe using steam servers) makes the saves load very fast 1-3 minutes. Maybe a dev know why, but it would be nice to do something so we have fast save load on patch sever. Thxks

This is still happening to myself and my friends, I can't understand why this hasn't been resolved. If we don't save the game regularly and reload from the prior save the game becomes unplayable. We cannot control ships, pops and economy goes haywire, sometimes we can't even upgrade ships or building slots. We were hoping this would be fixed with the Federations update but it looks to possibly be worse now.
 
We currently have tried playing a game into lategame with the mod that deactivates Xeno Compatibility Perk completely, after a lot of the desyncs happened in games where the species tab was already exploding.
It does not hinder the AI to create a lot of templates on itself unfortunately, but at least it does not happen exponentially.

So far we got later into the game, and while the saves already hick-up due to size, no desync yet. However this is just a theory, and we already had games that did not desync into late game, even if the majority does.
