Some people hate to see houses die out in the mod, but unforntunately this is the nature of the game of thrones and CK2!

This submod however attempts to keep house alive for longer for people who would like them to. It basically adds an event that allows a character to adopt the dynasty of an ancestor when they gain a title if the ancestor held it in the past.

e.g. If Rhaenyra Targaryen dies in the dance scenario, her Velaryon heirs could choose to adopt House Targaryen if they wished.

So basically it allows for titles to be inherited in the female line and keep the dynastic line preserved. This is along as they are not already heir or pretender to another title that is in their current dynasty.

Oh, this looks like something I would like. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

Does this work for all dynasties or just the "grand" ones? Would Baratheons on the Iron Throne becoming Targaryens be a problem?

This was something I desperately needed apparently. I don't know why, but the AI keeps having daughters instead of sons and die out fairly quickly.

The AI will always choose to change dynasty, unless they are already heir/pretender to a title within the current dynasty. In this case it is random whether they choose.
