Hey all, I was wondering how to give the Sarnori culture a unique unit gfx as well. I was just thinking of assigning them the Valyrian units, but i'm unsure how to do this. Do i need to create a separate unit gfx file and just copy it and rename it? Or is there a specific file I should change?

edit: I tried just replicating the file and renaming it unit_sarnorigfx.gfx but that did not seem to work. Any ideas? Just a minor quibble, but one that would make restoring the glory of Sarnor that much more enjoyable

Yeah, it is essentially copy and pasting, but in this instance it's probably easier just to do it than explain as the valyrian file contains both west and east/high valyrian stuff. Here is the file, stick it in AGoT Units/interface.

I didn't test it, so let me know if there are issues.

Delete the file "first men" in the cultures folder in this mod, and the "graphicalculturetypes" folder in Congenital Overhaul mod (i don't know why they included it, its exactly the same as vanilla).
That should make them compatible.

On another note, anyone have any ideas as to what Qartheen units should look like?
Also just noticed I haven't done anything for the stonedornish. Do people think I should give them the same as salt+sand or the same as stromlands or reach?
Did this in the 1.0 versions and the fix no longer works
 
No, when I updated for 1.0, congenital overhaul hadn't updated yet. I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

What are the issues with Congenital? I played this with that submod yesterday and did not notice anything, though I did not look at all the world to see if there were any problems.
 
To be honest I didn't really have time to look heavily into it with only one change causing the problem and a preexisting conflict having been reported a few version back. Just took your mod out and kept going.

I play with Congenital Overhaul and Unitpacks with no issues. Try to redownload this submod again and delete the old files of the submod.

Is it compatible with Westeros Only .0? I'vve tried to run them both and it always crashes, since Westeros Only modifiers some culture files to 0 size. Any chance you can release a version that is compatible?
 
I can't seem to get this submod to work with any other submod. If I only have this and the main mod active, everything works fine. But if I try to have any other submods active, even ones that don't edit the same thing, my game crashes on startup. I have all the appropriate DLC and everything.

I have used it with Congenital Overhaul submod and now the AGOT Roleplay submod and no crashes or any other issues.

If you made a Unit Pack that only worried about Westeros models, that would probably work.

Sorry for the delay. I've had a look at it and it shouldn't crash any more, however vassal levies do not use the unique units, whilst units from your own holdings do, and I cannot fathom why. I will continue to see if I can find a solution.

I made a small change that may or may not help you, but if it is crashing even without file conflicts then I'm not really sure what the issue is, sorry.
