Succession AAR?

I was thinking it would be pretty cool if a group of us did a CK2 succession type AAR? Play as a character until you die and then pass the save file on to the next person.

Would any writers be interested in trying this out?

I think it is a neat idea - but not one I would be able to partake in I am afraid.

The logistical trick would be ensuring that the DLC state of any partakers would be set the same, so that you didn't end up with broken/unplayable saves etc.

I did consider that. Would probably have to play a vanilla game to be safe.

Well if you got everyone to sign on at the beginning you could work out a minumum amount of DLC.

They've happened before and been fun. Depending on the timing, I would possibly be able to participate.

Suggestions for a starting nation would be good too.

I would like to get four or five people on board with this. Would just take a solid one or two others to get the ball rolling though.

Shouldn't be too much work involved, just writing a couple of chapters each.

It’s an interesting idea. Would there be a set format (narrative, gameplay, history book, comedy etc) or would the current writer be free to choose?

I think it would be best if each ruler wrote their chunk in the style of their choice. Having stylistic difference from ruler to ruler would further demonstrate the uniqueness of each reign.

I'm happy enough to play vanilla + ruler designer.

I believe I have everything apart from Jade Dragon and Holy Fury.

It's quite easy to do via google drive as a free place to upload files.

I think I might be interested, although would strongly recommend all dlc.
It might be worth considering a discord to organise and communicate it as opposed to the forum? (whilst still posting the AAR portion on the forum).

We can just zip up the saves and upload them to the thread. Sign me up, I'm good for any DLC but Sunset Invasion.
