Hi !

I would like to start a new succession game. The details are the following:

1. scenario 1337 - altogether 116 years to play. Crusader Kings patch 1.05 (we can discuss which events to use, etc...)

2. only 3 players (so, 2 more players and me)

3. each player would lead one country. Choose: Byzantium, Bulgaria or Serbia

4. save yearly. Play 1 year, save the game on 1 of Jan, and send the file to the next player. Your turn is every third year, playing always the same country. In total, each player plays 38 (or 39) years.

5. countries to choose are:

a) Byzantium (2 royal provinces, 11 provinces in total, 2 vassals, 28,000 troops)
b) Serbia (6 royal provinces, 9 provinces in total, 3 vassals, 19,500 troops)
c) Bulgaria (4 royal provinces, 9 provinces in total, 3 vassals, 17,000 troops)

6. I look for 2 more players, having experience with the game and with writting AARs.

7. before starting the game and game-AAR, each player should write a short historical introduction, describing (from her/his point of view) the situation of his realm, short history before the year 1337, what was going on in the neighborhood and in Europe/Mediterranean in general.

8. when playing your turn (1 year), you should also note down what is going on in other two countries (short notes) and in the world, and pass those notes (together with the saved game) to the next player. In that way, all 3 players would know (more or less), what was going on in their realms and in the world during those 2 years when their countries were played by AI (that is important for writting AARs).

9. you can choose the form of AAR that suits you. Historic? Dialog? Perhaps letters written by a steward that visits your country every third year? Posts related to each decade, or perhaps to the rule of each king? That is your choice.

What you must include in your AAR is:

a) what was going on in your country
b) your opinion about the actions of other 2 countries (your reflexions about your game-neighboors). That will be very interesting, to see what each players thinks about her/his direct oponents and interpret the events from her/his point of view
c) description of the global situation in Europe/Mediterranean.

10. take your time. Writting a good AAR needs time. We are not in a hurry. The scenario is short, but this part of Europe is an interesting one. There are Turks nearby, powerful Persians, declining Golden Horde, strong Egypt, and threatening Hungary+Naples.

Please, sign up and post your comments. We can start the game this weekend, or perhaps the next week.
