Sudden Freeze after playing many years

Dam I sept a lot of time tracking down the line number where the error occured.
I will look into it some more but it may take awhile, If I don't post back here in a couple of days, bump this thread to bring it to my attention.

I am playing the 1836 scenerio and have reached 1872 or abouts. Now, I play for 1 month and it shuts down. It never did this in any years prior. What do you think.

I split this off because it may not be related to the other users problem.

Do you have your AVI folder renamed to AVI_back?
Do you have your color depth set to 16BIT?
Do you have all programs shut down including Messanger, e-mail, and Virus protection?
Does it always crash on the same date and time?

I am trying those fixes. It crashes after playing about 1 month in victoria time. so it happens approx 1 month of playing. I am going to try with this fix.

So you can always play for about a month save then it lasts another month ...
In other words it is not date specific.
