Not sure if this would be difficult to implement or not. It would be great if a user's statistics (under About Me) included Average Post Length as well as Posts Per Day.

Posts Per Day lets one know, at a glance, whether a user has been consistently active on the forum. Average Post Length would give an idea of how much his posts contribute to the discussion. Yes, wordiness is not the same as thoughtfulness. Still, wordiness is usually the opposite of spam.

Avg post length would be skewed to those that post AARs. ;)
Posts per day, is a tracked stat but that is pretty easy to approximate since you know how many posts and when they joined.
The International Association of Mathematicians has asked us not to do ALL the work for you. :)

Thanks for the reply. I realize this would probably not be worth the effort to implement, especially if it is not a default feature that just needs to be activated.

All of this talk about achievements has gotten me thinking about our post count and rank. It would be interesting if there were some measure of the quality, not just the quantity of our posts.
