Dear Developers.

I wanted to thank You for this game, which through its unique approach has allowed overcoming problems typical of 4X games. I particularly like the ability to collect bonuses for playing style, instead of receiving them from above.

It's a pity that players don't appreciate this, preferring "flavour" over good mechanics.

However, the game still has one problem typical of 4X games: lack of logistics.

Please consider adding a new mechanic to the game: supply range from cities. Since this is an experimental game, perhaps it's worth taking the risk and including it?

Each land unit: scout, soldier, hero, settler - can only be supplied within a certain distance from the nearest settlement. The supply range depends, of course, on terrain type, availability of roads and rivers, and technology. Similarly, each naval unit is supplied by a port. If a unit moves beyond supply range, it receives operational penalties - including HP loss.

Such a mechanic would simply solve significant problems and give the game strategic depth:

1. City positioning and ownership would become very important. To conduct expansion inland, it would be useful to establish or capture a city by a river. This was the case in reality - the French colonized Louisiana thanks to controlling the St. Lawrence River. Meanwhile, Poles and Russians fought for access to the Dnieper River to have bases for strikes deep into enemy territory.

2. Naval expansion would also gain significance. To be able to discover distant lands and supply expeditions, having ports would be necessary. To settle an island, a player would first have to build a port and supply the route to the island, rather than just sending settlers there, ignoring distance and lack of fleet.

3. The mechanic would solve the eternal problem of boredom in exploration in the later phases of the game. Players wouldn't be able to discover the entire map with one scout or settle distant areas ignoring distance. They would discover it step by step along with the development of the settlement network and technology. Only in later eras it would be possible to sail further - beyond the deep sea.
