Currently, the cost of mech parts is set in each mech's mechDef file. It's usually around 10% of the cost of the completed mech. This creates a situation where it is much, much cheaper to buy a few mech parts and get a complete mech, than it is to, well, buy the complete mech.
I'd really like to be able to modify that cost. For example, I'd like to be able to run a career with 3 mech parts to build a mech, where the parts cost 35% of the complete mech cost, making it cheaper to buy the complete mech than buying the three parts. But if I'm playing with an 8 part requirement, I'd like that cost to be lower, somewhere around an 1/8th. And likewise, if I'm playing with stripped mech completion, I'd want a bit lower part cost than I would with fully stocked mech completion.
It'd be nice if I could set the cost of parts, as a % of the cost of the mech, by 5% increments, starting at 10%, and going up to 40 or even 50 percent.
