One medieval interaction that I think is sorely missing is to send a retinue of your ruler and his courtiers to a foreign court for diplomatic purposes. It could trigger something like the feast event or the trade route event chain and provide possibilities for making friends with foreign rulers and their courtiers.

Additionally, I think it would be awesome if at some point in the chain the ruler could choose whether the visit had a diplomatic or an economic focus. For the former, if possible, a betrothal event would be cool (if there are eligible unmarried people), and for the latter, something like the trade route event chain would be nifty.

Just an idea. I've begun modding something like this myself, but I'm sure your team is much more proficient at this sort of thing than I am.
