Under-used command = { type = cityname which = x value = "y" }
For Version 1.3 Event files, I would like a small request that gives FtG a little more "polish", and does not take a lot of effort. And I'm not talking about Polish sausages.
In the Events files, PLEASE consider using the following command (this command is under-used ever since EUII):
command = { type = cityname which = x value = "y" }
Perfect example: RUSSIA, Saint Petersburg event. Russia moves to their nice new imperial capital. There is even a very nice "event graphic" (for both Vanilla and AGCEEP). Oh great and neat. But why the heck is the damn city still called "Ivangorod" when you click on the game map????
So with a very simple event command, we could also have changed the cityname from Ivangorod to St. Petersburg.
command = { type = cityname which = 275 value = "St. Petersburg" }
This same command could easily be used in a few other situations. Like when (BYZ) Constantinople falls, and changes into Ottoman (TUR) Istanbul. Or in the small chance that Greece resurrects Byzantium, and renames the city back to Constantinople. There cannot be more than a small handful of examples of cityname changes in the existing events files. I think this is very doable. And clearly, this is something that will make this game look more polished than EU2 ever was.
If this request is considered, please do it for both AGCEEP and Vanilla event files (since I still play Vanilla

)
