Sooo in the Catholic and Orthodox TTs we were shown that only rulers can be canonized as saints,so I suggest we could at least have that non ruler characters who are saints before the start date would appear in the game like Apostles, st. George, st. Barbara, st. Cyril etc

Good flavor idea but do they additionally bring something to the game?

this I think, it scales with the ruler's stats

I think you get these instant benefits when you click canonization button of a ruler you hd in the game.
So saints canonized 1000 years before the game will not do anything, only bring flavor and common sense )

It's weird that you, as the ruler of a nation, are the one who decides who to canonise. At least in Catholicism, is the Pope and the Roman Curia the one who decides who is a saint, not a particular monarch or government. Sure, you could suggest to the Pope to have someone canonised, but not outright canonising someone yourself as a kingdom/country.

it does cost religious influence that symbolise the influence you have over the curiae and pope
